2024年10月1日、おかげさまで、
東海道新幹線は開業60周年を迎えました。

歴代の車両・車内チャイム、そして、
お客様から寄せられた写真や映像とともに、
60年分の思い出と感謝を映像に込めました。

今日も、これからも、東海道新幹線は
皆さまの「会いにいく」を支えてまいります。

  9. I am not japanese and I didn't understand a sginle thing that was said but this video literally moved me to tears just by the sheer emotion, music, and incredible direction. I have never been on a shinkansen but my god did that video make me love them as much as a family member lmao.

  23. Hello i'm a french guy leaving an english comment on a Japanese video showcasing my favorite train because i wanna share my passions and because even if i don't understand most of the things the video is too beautiful to not comment.
    I love the Shinkansen, as a kid i had plenty of tomica's and that's how i discovered this train i hope to go to japan one day and discover this marvel of technology !!

    数ヶ月前まで新幹線をはじめ、国内外問わず各鉄道会社の車輌の製造に関わっていました。
    乗客の皆さんからは決して見えないところに私達の指紋が残ってると思うとちょっと特別感がありますね🤫😁
    建屋の中ではさんざん見かけてるのになかなか乗る機会がないのがもどかしいですが、また新幹線に乗れる日を楽しみにしてます☺️

  46. As someone from America, I just want to say that your train network is truly inspiring and is without question the gold standard for high speed rail.

    60 Years of running this network, and not a single accident, and almost never late. I hope one day my generation and future generations will one day have a network as top of the line as JR. But we have a long way to go in order for us to get there, but I am thankful that you set the standard.

    Congratulations JR! I hope for many safe travels in the future, and world can't wait to see what you'll accomplish in the next 60 years!
