Starting in Japan, I highlight several appealing aspects: the weak yen makes living costs cheaper, the safety and politeness of the people are unparalleled, the public transportation is incredibly efficient, and the environment is impeccably clean and orderly.

Transitioning to Bangkok, I list ten reasons why Thailand beats Japan for expat life. These include Thailand’s more relaxed and less rigid lifestyle, the friendliness and familiarity of locals with foreigners, better English proficiency, and ease of settling in with various visa options; and joyful atmosphere in Thailand, which contrasts with the perceived sadness and economic struggles in Japan.
Other advantages are the more affordable and accessible healthcare, plentiful fitness options, and the overall convenience of daily life.

Thailand is the best choice for mental health and emotional well-being.
While Japan is a great place to visit, Thailand offers a superior quality of life and emotional well-being for expats.

  1. For this video I shot it from Osaka and Bangkok. When traveling to other countries, it always validates why I love Thailand the best. It comes down to quality of life and warm-heartedness, and how a place makes me 'feel'. I feel best in Thailand. Question for you: where is it in the world that you 'feel' best?

  2. タイは日本人の二番目の故郷で フレンドリーで安全生活で親切な人で世界の台所ですよ❗😁👍❤🇹🇭🐘🏖🙇‍♂️

  3. As a Thai people, I do believe the religion (Buddhism) is the core to made the Thai people are kind.

  4. I am thai , i know everything in thailand is cheap that is the main reason why the tourists can stay for long time ,in fact we can not fight japan in every side i think 😅

  5. I’m a Japanese. I absolutely agree with you. Thai people are much more helpful and friendly than Japanese.
And most of us don’t speak English, even hospital. 😂
In addition, we are afraid of the massive natural disaster all the time. 😢

  7. As a thai I must say I love going to Japan.I totally agreed with you in the politeness and kindness things I could feel the same.Still Malaysians and Japanese seem to be most similar to thais in term of general cultures and charecters except Japnese seem to be too nice sometimes 😊😊😊 somehow Japan has become Thai No.1 Tourists destination including mine.😊😊😊 I always enjoy my times there ….❤❤❤

  8. Too much of stressful life living in Land of The Rising Sun. No doubt it’s life alike the movie Matrix there.

  10. For Thai people, Japan is the older brother that Thailand tries to follow.
We try to follow in the footsteps of Japan even though our country is only a 3rd world country.
But we will not abandon our old habits. fun-lovingness

It is a simple and uncomplicated nation. We are a people who live a simple and friendly life.
Japan has an advantage in that it is a serious country. and set goals

As for Thais, they have simple, laid-back personalities.

Like siblings who have different personalities.
    Each person has different advantages.

  12. When living in Japan speak Japanese. It is like traying to speak English even living in France. And look what happened to European countries with to much foreigners. You sound like an arrogant American.

  13. i'd say Thai people are genuinely nice because they want to. Whereas Japanese people are fake nice like theyre "trained" or need to.

  14. Pretty spot on. Japan is the easy choice for most people but it's not for everyone. While Thailand will not be for most people, it will fit some who love easy life style.

  15. If you're living in their country learn their fucking language whether it's to the US or anywhere else.

  16. I've been to Thailand 4 times. I'm not going to Thailand anymore and I won't go again. Because everything and all laws in Thailand. He is trying to rob tourists. There is no hygiene or cleanliness. It has a very bad climate, Thailand is a country that should definitely not be visited. Those who say that Thailand is cheap are lying. Thailand is not a cheap country. However, what bothers me the most in Thailand is that all practices and laws are aimed at robbing foreigners. In the middle I felt like a sucker and a fool. Because the whole system and the people are somehow trying to deceive foreigners. As a result, Thailand is not a place to live. Do not believe what vloggers who promote on the internet tell you.

  17. I'm Thai. Since young age, I always adore Japanese orderly and cleanliness etc. like any other common Thais growing up with Japanese media. When I first travel to Japan everything seems pretty as expected. But when look hard enough, I really feel stress in the air and it's heavy. That's make me don't even want to work in Japanese company in Thailand lol.
Japan is still top on my travel bucket list. Very very nice for traveler.

  18. wait, did you say living in Japan is cheaper than living in Phuket? I find that really hard to believe. Is it true?
