It is clear that he does not have enough support from the people , and in the right way, he should have resigned as prime minister and handed the baton over to the next person. At least during the time of Mr. Ishiba, who was in the opposition party within the government, Mr. Ishiba was the one who always strongly criticized the LDP president and prime minister who lost the election . Unfortunately, he is contradictory in that he says things that do not apply to him . On the other hand, from the perspective of the opposition party, it is beneficial for them to have a prime minister who has low support from the people, who are very weak in elections, continue in succession . If it is believed that the opposition party will definitely win the next election, the opposition party would rather welcome Prime Minister Ishiba continuing as he is. On the other hand, the nature of politics will also change from now on. With the era of the LDP’s one-party dominance now over, the LDP will have to ask for the cooperation of the opposition parties for any bills it wants to pass. In the past, deliberations were held on the assumption that the LDP’s bill would ultimately pass, but from now on, bills will not be passed without a certain degree of compromise or movement to find common ground . The same goes for the budget, of course. In that sense, bills that pass will be those that have been agreed upon between the ruling and opposition parties at the very least, so there is a high possibility that the opinions of the people will be more reflected. However, by having such discussions, the number of bills that are passed will decrease, so there are both advantages and disadvantages. And one point in the results of this election is that the voter turnout has increased. Along with this, the power balance of the traditional political parties has also changed. In this election, while the LDP and Komeito lost seats significantly, the opposition parties, the Democratic Party for the People and the Democratic Party for the People, made great strides. However, not all opposition parties increased their seats. For example, the Constitutional Democratic Party, the largest opposition party, did not change its seats in this election. In other words, it maintained its previous strength and did not increase its own seats by the amount of the LDP’s loss. In the overall picture, the ruling party lost, but it can be said that the battle for the largest party among the opposition parties became more fierce. By the way, in this election, I recommended the new party Team Mirai and the Democratic Party for the People.
