1. I loved this video! I don't know a lot about music, but this video really does make it easy to understand, and the editing is wonderful! I do hope you get more popular soon.

   Also Yuji naka is using a microsoft sidewinder game pad at 1:48 which has the same amountn of buttons as the saturn controller, when hes playing the nights into dreams pc port. I wouldnt doubt that microsoft based the controller on the saturn controller, like how the xbox controller was based on the dreamcast controller.

   19:21, the a-life system is also used to refer to "artificial life" and how you can breed the nightopians and hatch them, and have them hate you or like you. Its still called the a-life system in sonic adventure, in which the chao are the a-life there. The a-life in nights can have the nightopians doing specific things in each level, breed with the enemies of the game to produce half nightopian-half nightmaren offspring, get happy when you are kind by opening eggs and killing nightmaren, but they can get upset when you murder them with the paraloop. its overall a pretty interesting concept. the change in music is only the tip of the iceberg with them, and is only an aspect of a-life.

   23:14 There was a cut boss called Selph that had a theme called "Know Thyself!" and while im pretty sure it doesnt use real instruments, it is meant to be dramatic, and really tries to replicate the feeling of an orchestra for it was planned to be the secret final boss, and so needed something dramatic.

   The music of NiGHTS is one of the best soundtracks i have listened to, and I am making a video about dreams in video games, and the music is a big part of it, and nights music being made up of many things reminds me of how when we sleep, we are recalling memories, and dreams are those memories mashed up into something else, something new and free, but also familiar, idk, but thats how i see it personally.

2. What a glorious video, this is easily the most complete breakdown of NiGHTS’ music out there. Thank you for doing this and I’d love to see you cover other soundtracks in its orbit like Ristar and Burning Rangers. Truly a one of a kind OST 🎵
