フジテレビ系「ぽかぽか」（月〜金曜・午前１１時５０分）が４日に放送され、番組中に地震が発生した。
この日スタートする同局系ドラマ「ギークス〜警察署の変人たち〜」（木曜・午後１０時、初回１５分拡大）に出演する女優の松岡茉優、田中みな実、滝沢カレンが「ぽいぽいトーク」に登場。田中が「朝はフルーツで酵素をたっぷり取ってます」とこだわりの美容法についてトークを展開する中、スタジオが揺れ出した。同局の原田葵アナウンサーが「お台場ただいま揺れていますが…」と慌ててステージ袖から登場。「大丈夫ですかね。外の方もお気をつけ下さい」と堅い表情で呼びかけた。
そんな中、元ＴＢＳアナウンサーの田中は「横揺れですね」とコメント。元ＮＨＫアナウンサーの神田愛花は「地震かどうか分かり次第ちょっと」とうながし、原田アナは「地震情報が入り次第お伝えします」と話した。
