  1. Lol…. Kolkata
Tbh its one of the big cities of india … But we all know how its now
Its a dying city … A city with huge cultural and historical significance but it has been the slowest most backward city in terms of development since the independence
The much poorer states around it is better than it now
No wonder whoever comes here will get the suffocation

  2. The comments will be like …. Ohh what a shitty counntry this n that
But being an indian …. Im sure there 'll be a turn in events
As these guys are on van… And may god keep them safe …they sure will see the huge-ness of the country… The sheer scale and diversity
    People , landscapes everything
We have everything of all sorts

  3. Skip Bihar & Jharkhand for now, prioritize South, West, Ladakh & North East India. Research local customs & be prepared for a vibrant (sometimes loud & dusty) adventure! India's diversity can be rewarding & frustrating at times. Do your research & explore nature, spirituality, and culture. Avoid crowded cities and be prepared to pay a premium for quality supplies. My recommendations for safe and scenic destinations include:
Pondicherry: A charming French colonial town with beautiful beaches and architecture.

Kerala: Lush backwaters, beautiful beaches, and rich Hindu tradition.
Maharashtra: Home to Mumbai (India's financial capital), historical sites like Ajanta and Ellora Caves, and the stunning Western Ghats mountain range.
Gujarat: Experience the rich cultural tapestry of Gujarat, including the Rann of Kutch, a seasonal salt marsh, and the colorful Kutch Desert.
Rajasthan: The "Land of Kings," with majestic forts, palaces, and a rich cultural heritage.
Himachal Pradesh: Stunning Himalayan landscapes, hill stations, and adventure activities.

Ladakh: A high-altitude desert region with dramatic scenery, Buddhist monasteries, and a unique culture.
Goa: Known for its stunning beaches, vibrant parties, and unique Portuguese culture
Uttarakhand: Himalayan paradise with scenic valleys, pilgrimage sites like Char Dham, and opportunities for adventure sports
Sikkim: Enchanting Himalayan beauty with snow-capped peaks, monasteries, and serene landscapes.
Meghalaya: The "Abode of Clouds" famous for Cherrapunji, the wettest place on Earth, and the fascinating living root bridges.
Arunachal Pradesh: "The Land of Dawn-lit Mountains" with stunning valleys, tribal cultures, and Tawang Monastery, one of the largest Buddhist monasteries in India.

  4. The problem with commenting on another country is people will say you are racist. Truths are truths in my view, or observations. Having met many Indians traveling in Thailand 🇹🇭. Im now of the opinion that I would never visit India 🇮🇳. I’ll leave it at that.

  5. Gosh the bureaucracy and all the paperwork/visas must be so exhausting ! But you two do it with such grace 😊

  6. Do you know why all these people follows you and watch you ?
Because non of us can do what you really do !
I've always say't.. "You are Heroes"

  7. Your pronunciation of Roti really grates and I'm an Aussie. I've never come across anyone saying it this way. Minor complaint. Love your story of and your trips.

  8. West Bengal is one of the most Backwerd States of India. It is perhaps 60 years behind rest of India. Be careful of High Crime Rate in this State, Its unsafe for Women to wander out, after 8 PM in West Bengal. Not sure why you would visit this State.

Right now, Its Election season so there is going to be Political Violence and Conflict. I would seriously suggest you two get out of there as soon as possible ! Go visit other States like Rajasthan, Uttar Pradedsh, Goa, Madhya Pradesh or Maharashtra, West Bengal is not the ideal place to start your India trip, You are going to end up feeling utterly defeated and frustrated.

  9. I mean, it's India. Influencers literally go there just for the video shock value. I am actually kind of surprised that you are complaining because you rarely complain and ITS INDIA! Now stop complaining, drink bottled water, and stay safe. Love you guys!

  10. Spent three weeks in India in January for a wedding and glad I went, but unlikely to ever return. Nope.

  11. We laughed. We went to India a number of years ago. We were shocked. The traffic, those bloody Tata trucks. As you said, the garbage. And the smell. Yikes

  12. Helloooooo Indiaaaa!!!
Chris, Insane Clinic? Tell me which one you are at, because it’s gotta be a damn good clinic to hang out. Lol
Marianne, you drove Georgia, I don’t think it can get more challenging than that, but, you never know.
People from India are very nice and they have great music. Can’t wait to see where you take us.
Oh and I’ve been meaning to thank you for the postcards you send, they always put a smile on my face.
    ❤❤❤❤❤
