八代亜紀さん死去 73歳 「雨の慕情」や「舟唄」などのヒット曲

「雨の慕情」や「舟唄」などのヒット曲で知られる歌手の八代亜紀さんが12月30日、都内の病院で亡くなりました。73歳でした。
八代さんは熊本県八代市の出身で、1971年にデビューすると2年後の1973年には「なみだ恋」がヒットし、その年、紅白歌合戦に初出場しました。

そして、1980年には代表曲の1つである「雨の慕情」を発表し、日本レコード大賞の大賞を受賞しました。

このほかにも、「舟唄」がヒットするなどデビューから半世紀以上にわたって日本を代表する演歌歌手として活躍を続けていましたが、去年9月に免疫の異常によって発症するとされる「こう原病」の診断を受け、治療に専念するため年内の活動をすべて休止していました。

所属事務所によりますと、八代さんは療養を続けていましたが、12月30日、都内の病院で亡くなりました。

73歳でした。
